Prayer for patience!
Truth and Love are twins!
Who can truly praise God?
Shine like stars in the sky
When we do evil, we need to pay a price for our actions. But when we repent, our God is ready to forgive and extends His grace. Watch out!
When we commit sin endlessly, God will permit us to go on in our sins and reap sad consequences later. It doesn’t mean that God is going to send fire from heaven, but will abandon us to our lustful ways. Even though many feel the tragic consequences, they neither repent nor seek God rather become worse in their actions.
In Romans 1:25 – 27, we read that they exchanged the Truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator. For this reason, God abandoned them to their shameful desires and they received in themselves the due penalty for their sin.
Paul lists 24 specific sins in Romans 1: 29, 30 which are existing in us today.
Read other lists in Mark 7:20-23, Galatians 5:19-21, 1 Timothy 1:9-10 and 2 Timothy 3:2-5.
"Though they know God’s decree that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do them but approve those who practice them."
Romans 1:32
The greatest judgement God can inflict on us is to let us have our own way.
When people praise a person, they are feeding honey.
So do not eat too much.
It is even good to be satisfied without it.
Do not live on praise and fall for flattery.
Sincere praise is an encouragement, but flattery does harm. Sometimes flattery may look like the only way to save friendship, but afterwards, there will be regrets on it. Flattery is like a hunter who spreads the net.
So be on guard.
It is not good to eat much honey;
so, to seek one’s own glory is not glory.
